Just One More Chapter

So far this year I am on the path to completing my 365 books! Which isn't saying much since we are only 2 days in :)

Do you ever get those days where you seem to be in a book funk? When I get those days, I go back to my favorites that I have read probably a hundred times already. One of my funk breakers is a Futuristic Gay Romance by Evangeline Anderson called Broken Boundaries. I can speed through this book in an hour and it is a good way to reset me and get back to reading other books.

I know that there are many people who do the same thing, but I want to know...What book, series, or really anything do you use to break your funk?

I really wanna know because sometimes just one more chapter can be a little hard to get through.

Just One More Chapter...

I have been a part of a Facebook Group called Reverse Harem Readers for about a year now and I am always getting the best recommendations from them :)

This is my most recent recommendation, and yes it went straight to the top of my TBR pile! Gifted Connections by SM Olivier. This is about a group of people who have special abilities. The stronger of these people have a what is called a connection with usually 1 or 2 other people, but the MC has 6! What an adventure she is going on trying to juggle them all.

I couldn't stop at just the first book, I had to get the 2nd and read Just One More Chapter...

Just One More Chapter...

So today I have been a bad girl 😈 I have not been able to put down this series! To the point that I was reading at work today, shhhh don't tell the students. The Code Series by Bethany Jadin is amazing. The relationship is not always easy and there are places throughout the series where everyone, including the MC has to work on something about themselves in order to make it work as a unit. I love that not everything comes easily because it makes it more real for me :) My own relationship has had rocky points and I don't always like the always perfect ones portrayed in books (honestly they seem kinda Stepford to me).

I started this series this morning and I am almost done with the entire thing! I can't wait to see what happens next because I have to read Just One More Chapter...

Tell me what your Just One More is for this week? I gotta have a new one, I'm almost done with this one.

Just One More Chapter...

Hey!

OMG I am so excited! Broken Compass is finally out and I couldn't put it down. I made the mistake of starting it late last night and I stayed up until about 1 o'clock in the morning finishing it :) If you love Jaymin's books then I am sure you will love this one too. I was so excited to learn more about Max and Misha.

What book have you read recently that you just couldn't put down?

Just One More Chapter...

Perfekt Control is the much anticipated 2nd book in S.T. Bende's Aere Saga. I loved Tyr & Mia's story and couldn't wait until Brynn and Henrik finally got their turn and now my wait is over.

Brynn and Henrik's story is full of trials and adventures. I absolutely loved this story and can't wait until the next story comes out. I stayed up all night reading my ARC and don't regret a minute of it.

What is your most recent just one more chapter?

Just One More Chapter...

Hello all! I am switching between catching up on seasons of my favorite tv series, crocheting, and reading as many books as I can get my hands on. This weeks book that I just couldn't put down was actually already on my tablet since the day it was released, I just hadn't gotten around to it yet! Then a couple of days ago I was offered a free copy in exchange for a review, but I already had it so oh well. I decided that I would read it next and review it anyways. Over the span of a couple of hours yesterday evening I began reading Yes, Please! by Willow Summers (aka KF Breene). Let me say steamy!!!! I loved this book and couldn't seem to set it down even for a little bit. Olivia is an intelligent woman who has a degree from Stanford, but can't seem to find a job to save her life (even the fast food industry won't take her because she is overqualified). After having lunch with a mentor from her college days she gets the idea to become the administrative assistant to the one and only Hunter Carlisle, but there is a catch. Because of the schedule they keep his assistant is also required to fulfill his sexual desires...what could go wrong, right? This story takes you on an adventure showing that not every self assured person is as they seem, sometimes there are hidden depths that need to be explored. I know that I loved this book and will be anxiously awaiting the next release, so please take a couple hours out of your day and read this book, because believe me once you pick it up you won't want to put it down until it is done, and sometimes not even then! Just One More Chapter...

Hello All. I was recently contacted by an author who wanted me to review her book, it looked interesting so I said sure why not! Let me tell you, this book is so much fun! I love all of the Greek Mythology that was incorporated, especially a lesser known myth like the Sphinx. I about 2/3 the way through the book and I just can't seem to put it down.

Now what is the name of this book one might ask? Well, let me tell you. It is called Curse of the Sphinx by Raye Wagner. I am looking forward to finishing this book and digging into the next one!

What book are you currently reading that you can't seem to put down or walk away from for too long? I want to know.

Just One More Chapter...

So today I am not doing much reading, well much of anything actually :) I have been vegging on my couch watching YouTube videos and coloring Christmas pictures with my son.

I am actually in between books right now, I recently finished Court of Nightfall by Karpov Kinrade and will be starting the next in the series, House of Ravens. I have read these books before, but I am looking forward to re-reading the extended version and doing reviews on them for all of you.

My most recent one more chapter book was Shannon Mayer's Blood of the Lost. I was not able to put it down the entire time I was reading it. I absolutely loved that book, but if you have not read it yet, or are going to be re-reading it, bring along a box of Kleenex. You Will NEED Them.

The ending to the Rylee Adamson novels was one that I was not expecting, but was surprisingly okay with. If you have not read this series I would recommend it for just about anyone who is interested in YA Paranormal and Urban Fantasy. The series starts with Priceless and is absolutely amazing!

Happy Holidays everyone, let me know of your recent Just One More Chapter...
