Book Boyfriend of the Week

This week my Book Boyfriend comes courtesy of Leia Stone's Fallen Academy Series.

This series follows a main character, Brielle, who is a slave to the Demon world, but could change the course of fate for many people. What's a girl to do? Well save her family of course. This doesn't please Angel Blessed, Lincoln Grey, who is more than a little upset that she chose to receive her slave mark instead of fighting to be a part of the Angel Blessed community.

They start off in a tense relationship, but as time progresses the sexual tension builds! Plus how could you not start to love someone who is helping you get stronger and save your family?

I am excited to read this series again and get to know more about my Book Boyfriend, Lincoln Grey. Can't wait to see who I will drool over next week :)

Book Boyfriend of the Week

This week's my book boyfriend comes from a book that I have read a couple of times, but can never seem to get enough of, King by T.M. Frazier.

"His tight black wife-beater showcased the ripples of his impressive muscular frame. A myriad of colorful tattoos decorated one side of his neck, chest and shoulders, continuing all the way down both arms to the backs of his hands and knuckles. He wore bracelets that weren't actually bracelets at all, but leather belts with metal studs wrapped around his wrists and forearms. Dark hair cropped close to his head, a black stud in each ear. A white scar through his right eyebrow. Stubble on his square jaw that was more than a few days past needing a shave". T.M. Frazier does an amazing job describing his outlaw vibe, but that is not all King is.

King is also very loyal and goes after what or who he wants. He will do anything for those who he considers family. This is the type of man that I like to read about. He is by no means a good man, but he has his moments :)

Book Boyfriend of the Week...

It has been a while since I have posted much, but I am wanting to get back to doing more on here. Between my little one, my substitute teaching job, and just plain life I have been really busy. So let's do this shit!

Recently I have joined a couple more ARC teams and have been reading a lot of Reverse Harem Romance #whychoose. I am still reading other stuff, this just happens to be what I am drawn to right now :)

So with this being said, my current Book Boyfriend is Ace from Yumoyori Wilson's Reapers of Beauty Series. Ace is described as having pink eyes. "He stands at 6'6" with shoulder length white hair. He has a slim build and likes wearing all black". He is an assassin with a lot of skills and the demeanor to back it up.

This series starts with the book One Thousand and One Lies. Ace is a little damaged, but so is Xia, the MC. The chemistry they share is out of this world, but getting through the thick wall that he has built around himself is a slow process. This series follows Xia, a girl who grew up in a world that made it hard for her to survive. Both of them have to learn to let their walls down, and when they do the result is explosive!

Book Boyfriend of the Week

This week my book boyfriend is from Lila Felix's Seeking Havok. This book in general was amazing and I am looking forward to my next read from this author.

I loved how this man was able to see the best in this broken girl and how he was able to recognize that she needed to be whole herself before she could be with him. Fade is the guy Jocelyn is able to spill all of her secrets to because she will never have to see him in person. Cal is the guy that Havok is crushing on, but won't let to close because of her messed up life. What happens when these two worlds collide? Sparks, that's what!!!

Book Boyfriend of the Week

Recently I decided to read Being Jamie Baker by Kelly Oram and fell in love with the books. If you have not read them I would definitely recommend it. It is also safe for young teens, so feel free to share with anyone who might be interested.

This week's book boyfriend is Ryan Miller. I fell in love with his happy attitude and never give up way to get into Jamie's life. On page 6 Ryan is described as having honey-blond hair, blue eyes and a tall, lean build. He was the All-American-boy-next-door.

Book Boyfriend of the Week

Recently I have begun reading S.T. Bende's Elsker Saga. I have fallen in love with the Norse mythology that is described in these stories. Because of this I can absolutely say that I have fallen in love with the male lead, Ull Myhr.

The first description of Ull comes from Chapter 2, page 19, when Kristia is in the museum before she knows who he is.

     My eye-level hit at his chest where a dark sweater barely concealed the muscles of a well-defined torso. His thumbs rested casually in his pockets, and his arms strained against the sweater. I looked up, and up some more, until I finally reached his face. He stood a whole head above even the tallest visitor in the museum, and I was ashamed to admit, my jaw opened just a little as I took in his features.

     A shock of touseld, blond hair rested atop an exquisitely-sculpted face. He had eyes as blue as a cloudless sky, cheekbones as chiseled as pictures I'd seen of the Alps, and lips the pale pink of my grandmother's roses. His jaw was square and strong with a hint of stubble, and his nose looked like it was lifted off a Roman statue.

Book Boyfriend of the Week

I have been reading many things recently, but I have also been re-reading a couple of my favorites so that I can leave reviews for them. Recently I started re-reading the Relentless Trilogy in preparation for the release of Warrior (Nikolas's POV). So as you may guess, my current book boyfriend is Nikolas.

The first introduction of Nikolas comes from Chapter 4 of the first book in the trilogy Relentless. I found myself gazing into a pair of steel gray eyes...My eyes moved up his handsome face taking in his square jaw, firm lips, aquiline nose, and black hair that fell across his brow in careless waves with a few strands curling around his ears. His skin was lightly tanned, and the shadow of a beard played around the curves of his jaw.

I am super excited to see this series from Nikolas' point of view because I think it will give even more depth and understanding to the character that we may not have had before. Nikolas is not known for sharing his feelings easily so being able to literally crawl inside his mind and find out what he was thinking during some of my favorite scenes will be an awesome adventure.

Can't wait until September 6, 2016 when this new novel will be released, but I am sure it will absolutely be worth the wait! Who is your current book boyfriend? Also what is your opinion of POV books like this one that will retell the story, but from the other persons perspective?

Book Boyfriend of the Week

Hello All, sorry for missing a couple of days, but I hope you guys had as awesome of a holiday as I did. I got to spend time with family and friends and eat amazing food! It also didn't hurt that I got a couple of new books that I get to read ;)

This week's boyfriend comes from one of my most recent reads House of Ravens by Karpov Kinrade. I loved this book and really the whole series so far. My "boyfriend's" name is Kai, the oldest Prince of the House of Ravens. His description comes from Chapter 5. The first description is rather short, but I like the progression that is made in his character. "He doesn't smile or look at anyone, his posture that annoying mix of arrogant and bored...he's impressive with those royal purple eyes, strong jaw, tan skin, and shock of messy black hair. He looks fit, healthy, like he knows how to use that gleaming sword hanging at his hip".

Book Boyfriend of the Week

I am absolutely obsessed with the Atlantis Grail Series by Vera Nazarian. So this week's book boyfriend would have to Aeson "Kass" Kassiopei.

When Kass is first described you only start to get a picture of who he is. (Description taken from Chapter 8 of Qualify when Command Pilot Aeson Kass is introduced):

He has an overwhelming presence even if there are Atlantean's who are larger than him. Kass has light bronze skin, striking chiseled features. He has longish golden hair, of a washed-out metallic hue that seems a shade lighter than the others. He is an older teen. His expression is a perfect blank mask, hard and impassive. His eyes framed by dark brows and a find tracing of kohl, are fierce blue lapis. his lips are held in a tight slightly disdainful smile.

The grey uniform sits well on his toned body, compact, muscular. And yes, it must be said, there is something about him overall-- maybe the confident way he stands, the way he holds himself-- that makes him strangely, undeniably hot.

The crush that Gwenevere, aka Gwen or Gee Four, has on Kass plays out in interesting ways, including on her long-time crush from her hometown.
