Phone a Friend Friday

It's that time of the week again. I want to know what you have read that you want to share with the world. I have read the first book in The Arcana Chronicles because it was recommended and I have to say I am looking forward to the rest of the series!

Let me know what books are good so I can add them to my list. Happy Friday :)

Waiting on Wednesday

Hello Everyone! It's the time of the week again where I introduce you to a new book/series that will be released soon. The book that I am super excited about this week is Karen Lynch's Warrior. This one is super far out, September 6, 2016, but I just couldn't wait to share it with you all.

This new book is part of the Relentless world and is a retelling of the whole trilogy from Nikolas' Point of View. There were so many times during that series that I was wondering what was going through his mind, and now I will have the chance to find out.

If you are like me and can't wait to find out what he was thinking, because let's be honest he isn't a talker, then you will be waiting for September 6th as well.

Just One More Chapter...

Hello all! I am switching between catching up on seasons of my favorite tv series, crocheting, and reading as many books as I can get my hands on. This weeks book that I just couldn't put down was actually already on my tablet since the day it was released, I just hadn't gotten around to it yet! Then a couple of days ago I was offered a free copy in exchange for a review, but I already had it so oh well. I decided that I would read it next and review it anyways. Over the span of a couple of hours yesterday evening I began reading Yes, Please! by Willow Summers (aka KF Breene). Let me say steamy!!!! I loved this book and couldn't seem to set it down even for a little bit. Olivia is an intelligent woman who has a degree from Stanford, but can't seem to find a job to save her life (even the fast food industry won't take her because she is overqualified). After having lunch with a mentor from her college days she gets the idea to become the administrative assistant to the one and only Hunter Carlisle, but there is a catch. Because of the schedule they keep his assistant is also required to fulfill his sexual desires...what could go wrong, right? This story takes you on an adventure showing that not every self assured person is as they seem, sometimes there are hidden depths that need to be explored. I know that I loved this book and will be anxiously awaiting the next release, so please take a couple hours out of your day and read this book, because believe me once you pick it up you won't want to put it down until it is done, and sometimes not even then! Book Boyfriend of the Week

I have been reading many things recently, but I have also been re-reading a couple of my favorites so that I can leave reviews for them. Recently I started re-reading the Relentless Trilogy in preparation for the release of Warrior (Nikolas's POV). So as you may guess, my current book boyfriend is Nikolas.

The first introduction of Nikolas comes from Chapter 4 of the first book in the trilogy Relentless. I found myself gazing into a pair of steel gray eyes...My eyes moved up his handsome face taking in his square jaw, firm lips, aquiline nose, and black hair that fell across his brow in careless waves with a few strands curling around his ears. His skin was lightly tanned, and the shadow of a beard played around the curves of his jaw.

I am super excited to see this series from Nikolas' point of view because I think it will give even more depth and understanding to the character that we may not have had before. Nikolas is not known for sharing his feelings easily so being able to literally crawl inside his mind and find out what he was thinking during some of my favorite scenes will be an awesome adventure.

Can't wait until September 6, 2016 when this new novel will be released, but I am sure it will absolutely be worth the wait! Who is your current book boyfriend? Also what is your opinion of POV books like this one that will retell the story, but from the other persons perspective?

Hot Author of the Week

Hello again! Today's post is a little bit late at night, but I have been busy today :) What I want to do for this post in the future would be to have an author give us a little bit of detail about themselves, their books, etc in a sort of guest post, but I am still new so not many authors are willing to do that yet. I have signed up for a book tour so I hope that I am picked as one of the blogs that will be able to be a part of it. Wish Me Luck.

As for the Hot Author of the Week for this week we will continue as with previous Saturday's where I introduce a new to me author that I have fallen in love with.

My new author of the week is S.T. Bende who is the writer of several series including The Elsker Saga and The Aere Saga. I found this author through a FaceBook group that I am a part of and fell in love with her series based around the Norse Gods.

I have loved mythology for as long as I can remember and most books that incorporate mythology into their story line are pretty good to me. Though I admit there are a few flops out there. If you have not read anything by S.T. Bende take a minute to look over a few of her books and you will see why I have come to love this author.

If you are an author and are interested in guest hosting a post telling about yourself please contact me and I will get all the information you need to know.

Hope your New Year is starting out right!

Phone a Friend Friday

Happy New Year! What are you looking forward to this year? Do you have any resolutions that you want to share (reading related or not)? This year I want to be happier. This for me will include working out, meditating, spending more time with my family, and reading lots and lots of books.

Since today is Phone a Friend Friday, what book are you most looking forward to in the new year? This can be a new book that will be released, one that has been sitting on your to-read shelf for what seems like forever, or one you just want to re-read because it was an awesome book. I want to know.
